Retail Store now closed

Color Theory is closing to make way for our manufacturing of custom canvases, panels and easels.

After moving to our new location we wanted to offer the community a smaller version of our store but it seems like the world as conspired against this! We have experienced many challenges as a retail store which includes major supply disruption, very poor foot traffic to our location, Amazon, online discount suppliers and now tariffs that will increase the price of most items for an unknown amount of time. It’s just not sustainable and rather than spend even more in developing our space for retail we decided to fully embrace what we can control, which is our custom canvas shop.

The same location of 1121 Jordan lane will be where we will stretch our canvas and you can shop ready made sizes of canvases and panels. Very soon we will have a new name, new website with an online store with additional products available. These changes will be fluid and you can still use our form to order any custom made surface you like. Many thanks to all who have supported us as retailers over the past 6 years! Since our beginning in 2019 we have been through fires, Covid, surgeries, a birth, moving twice, losing 3 distributors and a changing world that has altered how we buy things, Tariffs lifting prices yet again (prices have increased more than 25% since 2019) has allowed us the clarity of knowing when to call it quits for retail. We’ve had a lot of great memories and wish we could have done more- as there were so many plans unrealized. All that being said- we are very excited about what’s to come!
